Salalh is not ready to tourists. a very poor area along the coast, dirty apartments, the food is mostly street food. locals are often not friendly and can be aggressive. Taxi drivers at the airport are generally trash. The local nature is beautiful, but if there is a car. you can't swim from June to October, it's terrible. There are no promenades, parks for walking. There is nothing to see and very expensive prices. In general, I do not recommend it. In my list of countries, this country is in last place.

Salalah is a very beautiful place with amazing nature including mountains, deserts and beach. It has a reach history and culture which is somehow deferment than Muscat with its tribal traditions, delicious food and green areas. Visitors must enjoy picnics on the mountains to see waterfalls and wadis. Special camel meat (Madhbi) is one the best to me as well as many modern restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. Add on that the people of Salalah are very kind and friendly welcome the guest

It was our first time in Salalah and we visited for two days...
It was our first time in Salalah and we visited for two days during the Khareef season. We only had a full day to do one tour and had to make a choice. A longer stay of 5 to 7 days would have been ideal to appreciate all the locations. The weather was a nice respite from the bright hot sun in Kuwait being cool, overcast, and drizzling continuously at times. The mountain roads were heavily shrouded in fog and other than being very cool, we could not see much of the views. Swimming is forbidden during this season because of the high waves and strong currents. We found the Omani people, as always, very welcoming and friendly wherever we went. It's best to plan all visits and excursions ahead of your trip.
the hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of a while sandy beach where you can walk for hours. it is beautifully designed with bridges and canals. the pool is great for lap swimming. a nice touch is refreshments and fruits around sunset for free. the staff are friendly, they gave us a late check out for 6pm since our flight was late at night which exceeded our expectations. we recommend this hotel as the place of choice in Salalah
I have stayed at the Atana more than 4 times now, and every time is excellent in every way. ALL the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is exceptional; especially the buffet that is served some Thursdays and Fridays. To be honest, many 5 star hotels could learn something from the service here. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. Would recommend it for families or people travelling alone.
Very spacious, beautiful, comfortable and clean room. We really enjoyed our stay there. Everything perfect. The value for money was awesome but I don't know if the price increases during the Salalah season. My travel was not in high season. The breakfast was fantastic and we had a great contentment swimming in their lovely pool. For sure if I travel again to Salalah, I will reside at this hotel.
We stayed at Atana Stay for 2 nights, and the stay was comfortable thanks to the wonderful team of Mr. Zulfiqar, Mr. Shafi and Mr. Mohiuddin. The location of the hotel is good and the rooms are quite huge. Their suggestions on places to visit were also on the dot. With separate blocks, there is good privacy. Good option for family traveller.
The hotel is actually above a mall downstairs... which makes the experience a bit unique...
Staff was super amazing and helpful, reception and house keeping were very timely
The location is relatively near airport, there is a local market right across the street which was nice for souvenirs and Omani products. overall awesome
We booked the hotel for long weekend trip to Salalah. We were not looking for something luxurious just something to sleep and go to explore the nature.
This is what you will have, something convenient affordable but not luxurious nor romantic. It met the expectations.
The hospitality of the entire staff, be it the reception desk or the housekeeping, was amazing. The receptionist, Ms. Eli cared for the guests genuinely. She made sure that no one was left unattended.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Salalah.
Location - We could hear the sea wave from our balcony, and it is easy to reach from the airport, and not too far from the amazing beaches and wadis.
Restaurant - Both the buffet and ala carte have great choices. Highly recommend the grilled Omani lobster.
Excellent room service and clean place. Also plenty of car parking space. Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed from front desk, he is always ready to help guests. There are nearly 7-8 coffee shops and kids play zone near to this hotel.
I loved the room. Very spacious. It had an outer sitting room and an inner bedroom. What more do i need!
It's like more value for money. I strongly recommend this hotel.
I'll surely visit again any time i come to Salalah.
the hotel is good, nice swimming pool, kind stuff, they explained us about places to visit in Salalah.
the room is large, the layout is beautiful, quiet atmosphere. there is a free parking near the hotel.
Said on front desk was very friendly and helpful :)
Great recommendation of tour guide Ali at oman safari tours.
Great breakfast options.
Room was incredible, lovely balcony and sea view.
It’s a fake hotel, mobile number provided during the booking is belongs to someone else. No such hotel available in Salalah. I struggled my family in finding another hotel for staying,
Excellent, elegant and clean hotel, one of the best hotels in Salalah. Excellent location. Wonderful welcome from the manager. I advise everyone to visit it.
Very pleasant staff, the room was clean and nice smelly, great coffee -big choice. It was the best accomodation we had in Oman so far. Great value for money.
Very helpful staff, helped us have a great stay for the night, very fast in responding to requests. Would definitely stay again for a short stay in Oman.
